Compliance and Intellectual Property (IP) Manager

Role: Compliance and IP Manager
Location: Lista, Norway
Key Responsibilities:
- Compliance Management:
- Develop, implement, and maintain a robust compliance framework to align with legal, regulatory, and industry standards.
- Monitor and ensure adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies across the organization.
- Conduct regular compliance audits and risk assessments to identify potential issues and opportunities for improvement.
- Intellectual Property Management:
- Oversee the company’s IP portfolio, including patents, trademarks, and trade secrets, ensuring proper protection and strategic alignment with business objectives.
- Collaborate with R&D and legal teams to identify, secure, and manage new IP assets.
- Stay informed about global IP trends and advise the company on potential opportunities or risks.
- Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance and IP considerations are integrated into operational decisions.
- Liaise with external legal counsel, regulatory bodies, and industry organizations as needed.
- Training and Awareness:
- Develop and deliver training programs to staff on compliance requirements and IP management practices.
- Promote a culture of compliance and innovation across the organization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in compliance and/or IP management, preferably in the renewable energy or aerospace sector.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks, industry standards, and IP law.
- Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Professional certifications in compliance or IP management are an advantage.
