On the path to continuously operation the team set a record April. The Kite was operated beyond the limitation of the onboard battery and was landed with the same battery voltage as it had at take-off 2 hours and 6 minutes earlier.

The flight confirms that Kitemill is on schedule to reach the next big technical milestone, a 24 hours flight. During March marking lights for night flying was tested. Also in March, a 1 hour flight was performed only limited by the battery capacity. This limitation is now considered removed, as the team succeeded in adding a charging system and demonstrated the ability to mantain battery voltage through a 2 hours flight.
