The speech was addressed to Your Royal Highness, Minister of State and friends of Innovation and Innovation Norway. This year, the speech was streamed digitally due to Korona restrictions.
- In collaboration with the The Research Council of Norway and other stakeholders in the public support instruments, we will build a staircase from regional and national to European instruments. The company Kitemill at Voss is among those who have paved the way. In September, they received 2,4 million EUR from the EU to further develop their wind technology, Haugli said in his speech.
-It is gratifying that Innovation Norway's top manager presents us as an example of a successful investment in new technology. It gives us even more inspiration to bring Kitemill to an even higher level, where we commercialize our technology, for the benefit of the environment, sustainability and a circular economy, says Kitemill's general manager, Thomas Hårklau.
The central theme of Håkon Haugli's speech was that Innovation Norway will contribute to sustainable growth and exports for Norwegian business through capital and expertise.
"We must work together to equip the commercial businesses to restart after the crisis," said Håkon Haugli as he held the Innovation Speech today. Innovation Norway's CEO believes that green restructuring and investment in exports and specialization in the regions is crucial to creating a new and competitive business sector, Haugli said in his speech on June the 17th, 2020.
